Matthew Tennison is originally a Los Angeles-based photographer, specializing in location and portrait photography for corporate, advertising and design clients.

His career began in photojournalism, working for both newspapers and lifestyle publications in the Los Angeles area and he also has an extensive career as an award-winning wedding photographer spanning over two decades. Matthew takes a holistic approach to photography. He is an environmental portraitist and architectural photographer, seeking out the authentic capture of images that not only tell a story, but convey a feeling. Clients credit Tennison Photography for the ability to leverage the quality of light in any given situation and for Matthew’s flexibility on location, meeting and adapting to challenges that location work brings. Matthew has a degree from Brookes Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California and now resides in Lititz, Pennsylvania with his wife and two sons.
